Hi all, I've recently completed my CS30 Cross Cut and Maintenance and I'm looking to get into tree work as a groundie/labourer up in Newcastle upon Tyne/ the North East. I do want to get climbing and up into trees eventually but I'm just trying to get my foot in the door in the industry first. Would anyone be able to help out a newbie looking to get a start in the industry? I'm keen to learn and get as much experience as I can and learn from some pros, I've got some experience snedding and felling trees but not a great deal but I'm happy to graft my arse off and get the work done and learn as much as possible. Learning to drive so don't have my own transport currently but I'm more than happy to commute where needed so long as its relatively local to the north. Got my own PPE and hunting for a decent ground saw. Any and all feedback welcome.
