There may already be a thread relating to this but I couldn't find it.

I thought it might be useful to create a list of all legislation that business owners in the industry should be aware of.

As part of a business start up loan application I have been asked to name what laws, legislation and regulation I have considered for my industry.

I know there are plenty more but so far I've come up with these please post your suggestions and I can add them to the list.

Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974,

Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)

RIDDOR - Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013,

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

The Work at Height Regulations 2005,

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981,

Employment Rights Act 1996

National Minimum Wage Act 1998

Employment Relations Act 1999

The Maternity and Parental Leave etc. Regulations 1999

Part-Time Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2000

The Equality Act 2010
