The company

Homegrown is an Arboricultural Association Utility Approved contractor specialising in Vegetation Management, Arboriculture, Fencing & Ecology working in the Rail, Highways, Utilities & Construction sectors. The company provides these services across the UK, this opportunity is based primarily in Southern Counties and South East of England.

We also have another opportunity for Northern England and surrounding areas and in the rail sector.

 

About the job

Due to increased orders from existing and new clients, we are currently looking for full time operatives for a variety of arboriculture/ vegetation management activity works across the South East of England. You will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work well within a team. Having a passion and taking pride in your work and have a good understanding of current industry best practices. You will be undertaking various aspects of vegetation clearance within the rail or non-rail sectors. Experience is desirable but full training will be provided. 

Competitive rates of pay offered (dependent upon qualifications and experience). You will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.

This is a full time position working a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. There are further opportunities for additional shifts at the weekend/ working away from home on an ad-hoc basis.

 

Preferred Skills

  • NPTC- CSCS30 and CS31
  • NPTC- Woodchipper/ Brushcutter
  • PTS
  • First Aid at Work (Forestry)
