Husqvarna 141 not idling

Help please...

I replaced carburetor, fuel line, and fuel filter. When I started it, it started wonderfully. Then after it warm up or so, it starts idling high AND low.

 

After turning it off, I start it and either idles low or high.

did you inspect the rubber hose part number 

530 05 34 35

 they split and cause problems

Nope. Will look into it next.

 

Do I have to get that part or just get the part from a 141 parts diagram?

I finally got around replacing it, and it's still having the same issue.

 

Any thing else I should look into?

Yes.

 

The tip of the carb adapter that connects to the rubber hose was kind of burnt/melted too.

Youve had an air leak then, i would take the exhaust off and have a look at the condition of the piston through the exhaust port.

Anything I should be looking out for when I examine the piston?

should be nice and smooth, and not have what looks like rough melted vertical lines in it

Got it, will look into it once more if I ever have the time again.
