I'm doing it now. Just submitted the 3rd module and waiting for the 4th. Which bits are you struggling with?

**Edit - sorry read this wrong. I am doing ABC Forestry not arboriculture. How are you finding it?

I'm doing it at the moment with the Horticultural Correspondence College, currently on woody plant physiology. The notes supplied are not the easiest to follow, but the aim is to get you to do your own research I guess.

There is a lot of cross-over with horticulture in the earlier modules, so I found the texts for the RHS Level 2 and 3 (principles of horticulture by Adams et al) very relevant and good at explaining terminology.

I probably underestimated how long it would take, and gauging the level of detail required is tricky. Hope you find it easier as you go on.

Im studying with HCC too. Plant physiology was a bit of a slog to get through. Some of the questions were not well worded. Something like "give 3 examples of X in 4 named woody plants". So is that 3 examples that mention the 4 plants or 3 examples for each plant, 12 in total? I didnt really find any of the booka I got helped much but you are right about the notes not being clear.
