you would notice a little difference but not much, mains saws have tons of torque but not the chain speed of a petrol

 

and chain speed is what makes the bigger difference if your talking 'performance' 

 

a smaller bar makes a bigger difference on a petrol saw as you are driving less chain with the same amount of torque so more torque per inch of bar which in turn would help u keep the chain speed up so a quicker cut

 

it's the differences between torque and power, 2 different things

 

so to answer your question, probably not worth changing
