Salary £19,000-£23,000 dependant on skills and experience

 

Glendale South West Arb are an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor undertaking a wide range arboricultural works including contracts for the Public sector as well as continuous arboricultural work in the private sector, extensive commercial works on the highways and within the land development areas.

Glendale South West Arb have offered these services for over 25 years, continuing to be progressive and respected for their technical expertise. We are currently recruiting arborists to join our team due to significant increases in workload being awarded in multiple sectors.

 

The Opportunity

• Fixed term, permanent  contract with the opportunity to build and develop a career over the longer term as we are keen to build team resilience.

• 40 hrs per week , 28 days leave , rising in line with service. Sick pay and pension

• On call and overtime always available.

• Good training opportunities and ability to develop skills and competencies

• Subcontract opportunities can be  discussed

 

The Person

• Proactive member of staff with a passion for arboriculture

• Strong team working ethic essential

• The candidate will need to be flexible and reliable with a thorough , proven knowledge of all aspects of tree work: ground and aerial

• Comfortable undertaking arboricultural duties including tree pruning, dismantling & felling

• Nature of work requires the candidate to hold the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC certificates : 201(CS30), 202(CS31), 206/306(CS38) 308(CS39),. Possession of a valid CSCS card would be an advantage. A full UK driving licence is essential, preferably with trailer towing up to 3,500kg.

• Must have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety regulations
