Had a mare on the way to work today, full load, hill and black ice, and a trailer. Used the winch to get back down without a jacknife occuring. i snapped the hand brake cable as well.:sneaky2:[/quote

Thanks, it seems to work well for me, as i have a tracked chipper i try to persuade people to keep the chip, but if i do have to get rid i have a lot people who want it. there are so many aspects to look at when choosing the right set up.

Very nice set up there! Do you find the chip box too small?

 

To be honest, sometimes, its a lot less than my transit but i can live with that. A transit would not have been able to handle the lake district winter. There is more chip space than you think, the key is to have a lot of dumps for it, i give it away fresh, one fella lets me dump as much as i want, he needs 200 tonne so it works well.
