Had a mare on the way to work today, full load, hill and black ice, and a trailer. Used the winch to get back down without a jacknife occuring. i snapped the hand brake cable as well.[/quote

Thanks, it seems to work well for me, as i have a tracked chipper i try to persuade people to keep the chip, but if i do have to get rid i have a lot people who want it. there are so many aspects to look at when choosing the right set up.

To be honest, sometimes, its a lot less than my transit but i can live with that. A transit would not have been able to handle the lake district winter. There is more chip space than you think, the key is to have a lot of dumps for it, i give it away fresh, one fella lets me dump as much as i want, he needs 200 tonne so it works well.
