Rayco RG 1635 Tracked.. Head cutting out!

Hi everyone,

Could anyone shed some light on this?

Our Rayco cuts the head out when under load, it has been electronically tested all round and everything works. Proximity sensor works, clutch works, etc.

Apparently it could be the ECU reading something as incorrect but we have no troubleshooting list to work from.

Does anyone know what can cause this to happen?

Thanks in advance!

Nick

Might be worth checking every connection/ground that you can find. Worked on a few different machines in the past, with intermittent faults, that have 'come right' before replacing expensive electronics.

Can't remember what it was on now but one issue looked to be a voltage drop caused by a corroded lead on the alternator. Fully charged machine worked as it should, but then acted up as the battery voltage dropped during the day.
