Sub-Contractor Contracts

Hello, I did have a search but I couldn't really find anything.

Do you guys on have contracts that you get your subbie staff to sign before they start work with you? Similar to the type of contracts the bigger companies get you to sign before you can send out field teams with them / get onto their projects? Reason I ask is I've been bitten before with verbal agreements so am now looking to do things properly to save the confusion and the arguments.

If so has anyone got a link to a template or could fire across a template? If not what type of solicitor would I need to contact to get one drawn up as I've got quite a few specific points I want to put in the contract itself.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Albeit with a strong construction flavor but this/these might be a start for ten..

They're clearly geared for a principle - main - subcontractor arrangement, i.e. bona-fide subcontractor rather than 'labour only' (LOSC) which is generally how you engage a subbie / freelancer but may have some useful stuff.

Good luck..

Paul
