Arborist Report Required for Planning In SE23

Question

Hi All,

We have a project in Se23 (Honor Oak Park) in need of a report to satisfy Lewisham Council. They have previously been fine with things, but seeing as the project needs to go to committee we need to firm up our position. Their statement is that they need "An arbouricultural report to understand whether the health of the tree in the rear garden of 42 St. German’s road would be compromised as a result of the development"

Could anyone get in touch to discuss?

I completed a VERY basic assessment with the diameter at breast height (500mm) back in 2017 and used the factor of 12 to confirm a root protection zone (RPZ.) But then due to the potential for nourishment from the rest of the garden being greater than the area of this 6m circular area I was advised that the theory was 'correct'.

Would love for someone to guide us so that we can ensure we have a strong statement for committee.

Thanks in advance!

Joe Stuart
