laminating kitchen wall

Hi All

I'm currently fitting a new kitchen, and instead of tiling the walls, i'm going to board them with laminate flooring.

Has anyone else done this and if so how did you get on.

What type of fixings , glue, edging strips etc.

Any pro's and cons ?

Any information greatly appreciated.
