Charcoal help

I had a guy turn up in the yard wanting wood for turning into charcoal yesterday. Seemed a decent bloke but he was Turkish I think and there was a bit of a language barrier trying to find out the specification of what he wants.

 

As far as I could tell he wanted dry wood but no idea on size or specific species.

 

He reckoned he needed 5t of wood to turn into 1t of charcoal.

 

Any ideas what I should be trying to sell him and if it’s worth my while??
