Wood for Making Scout Fires, Bures / Sudbury

I'm taking our Scout troop on its annual camp to Bures campsite near Sudbury on July 21st (this weekend)

We usually struggle for wood on the site and making fires etc is a great learning experience for the scouts.

Last year someone on here whos name i forget donated some slab wood which worked great and was massively appreciated and provided some great campfires.

If anywhere near has any slab/dry not big diameter arb waste they could donate that would be great, im taking my lorry with me and can collect

many thanks

James
