Finding yard space

I'm planning on relocating my business from Surrey up to Shropshire. I've previously used yard space on my parent's farm. Does anybody have any tips/help/advice about finding yard space up in Shropshire? In the ideal world I would have secure storage for chipper and tools, a place to have a little fire, and somewhere to do logs. If farmers are the best bet how do you get hold of them? Just turn up and knock on the door?? Cheers in advance.
