Freelance surveyors pay rates

I'm about to move from climbing into freelance surveying and have no idea how much the standards rates to charge are. What is the average rate?

Depends on what experience and qualifications you have largely, where in the country you are, and what sort of surveys you intend to do...

I'm based in the SE of the country, Kent area. I have my L4 DipArb and I'm planning to get my PTI soon. I want to start off doing safety inspections and surveys, moving into BS5837 when I'm confident and have the equipment for it.

I'm in the same boat but with the PTI and 15 years climbing. Really struggling to get my foot in the door at the moment. Good luck.
