Anybody know anything about Fisher climbing spikes? Aluminium or steel? And leather straps or Velcro? Looks like they have sold hundreds of the steel version but not so many of the aluminium ones.

I found them on eBay and am leaning towards the aluminium with Velcro pads at £125. Will be my first pair and not used very often.

Any info on them would be really appreciated. Thanks Gordon.
