Description
I bought this saw new in February 2019. Since early 2022 it has not been used, as I bought all new saws to change over to using Aspen2.
When I started it up recently it would not run properly. I stripped the carb, soaked it overnight in vinegar (alternative to ultrasonic clean), fitted new diaphragms and all new fuel hoses, fuel filter, and vent. Also new spark plug. It still would not run properly, so I bought a new non genuine carb. It then ran perfectly without any adjustment. It oils as it should.
I have used it for one morning's work to check it runs well under load, not just in the workshop. It worked perfectly. Once it was thoroughly warmed up the initial throttle response from idle was lower than when it was warming up. I imagine some minor adjustment of the carb would sort this, but I have left it as it is.
Collection only so buyer can see it starting from cold, and cut some wood in my yard to satisfy themselves it is as I have described.
