The piece was floored before i started turning so i had to be very carefull and not let it crack past the point of no return.

 

It came out ok in the end, It has a very simple form again due to my confidence with the tools but were getting there slowly.

I have my eyes on a piece colonised by the green elfcup which turns it green, the same as in tumbridge ware, and i would dearly love to have a neck pendant like that one made from it, maybe a ring too
