Hi All,

To cut straight to the point I am looking for a small - Medium RELIABLE sub contractor who is located near the North Kent area.

We are a successful Grounds Maintenance Company, However we have always needed to shy away from committing to or advertising for more Tree Works.

Most of our current jobs are generated from our current contracts i.e a tree that needs minor works ( 2hr job) to all the works that are highlighted from our tree surveys.

We have the potential to tap into a lot of clients if we wish, however as stated above have not been able to due to struggling to find the right contractor to work with us. Now the biggest issue that I have faced is that our clients are commercial and use to paying commercial prices ( not domestic prices ) however the companies that I have dealt with up until now have only worked in the domestic sector. Although I have tried to highlight the issues of what our clients are use to paying, getting someone on board who is willing to work with us has been hard as domestic prices do not regularly win commercial jobs and due to lack of open mindedness of any potential contractor they have in there own right decided to stick to the domestic side.

Now I will be totally honest with what we are looking for and would be interested in any general feed back on this thread and any general further enquires.

What I Would Like / Will Be Required:

- DBS / CRB Certified Staff ( We can help you get this is you do not already have).

- Proof of qualifications and insurances.

- Own risk assessments / H&S policy

- Ability to view possible works during the day ( even if on set days a week as we can work with that).

- Will actively pay the same amount of interest and commitment to completing small job as to completing our large jobs.

- Commitment ( at the moment we do not have bundles of work coming in as we are unable to confidently advertise, however I am only looking for one ( maybe two ) contractors to have on our books and the reason for this is to repay the commitment of somebody who is willing to work with us to grow this sector of our company by them knowing that work won will be giving to them).

Any way I think I have said enough so please any further thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
