How to Write a Great Arborist Review

At Arbtalk we welcome all product reviews by professional users active in the industry with significant experience of any product related to Arboriculture.  By taking time to review and rate a product, you can help other Arborists find the products that are best for them.

By submitting a review you agree that Arbtalk may include your name and review in it’s public and social media information pages.

Please note that review submission at Arbtalk does not guarantee publication, and the Arbtalk site owners reserve the right to remove any review that does not comply with its guidelines.  Neither Arbtalk or its owners are responsible or liable in any way for ratings and reviews submitted by it’s members.

GUIDELINES FOR WRITING A PRODUCT REVIEW

Be objective and truthful.  Tell us how you feel about the product.  It is not enough to simply tell us why you liked or disliked a product.  Please tell us why in detail, and be specific.

Did the product meet your expectations?

What features of the product do you like or dislike?

Would you recommend the product to other arborists?

Stay ‘on topic’.  Focus on the product.

Try to keep it short.  Aside from more complex arborist machinery, a good review length is typically between 250 to 500 words.

Please conclude your review with ratings.  Arbtalk uses a simple 5 star rating system.  In addition to this you may also leave pro's and con's if applicable.

Please:

Don’t abuse the service.  Reviews should not harass, abuse, or threaten another’s personal safety, property, or business interests, nor make false statements, defame, inpersonate someone else, containt profanity, sexually explicit, illegal or otherwise objectionable content as determined by Arbtalk at their sole discretion.

Do no submit multiple or commercial reviews.  Reviews should not include multiple posts by the same user or posts that have spam, commercial or advertising content or links.

Only submit your own reviews.  Please do not copy or otherwise infringe on others material, trademarks or other intellectual property.  Your review should include only your own thoughts based on extensive experience with the product in question.

Reviews are for end users only.  Product reviews are for end users to help other end users only.  Manufacturers or vendors are not allowed to post reviews or any promotional of advertising information in the product reviews comments section.  If you have a complaint about a rating or review, please click on the report abuse link and complete form provided.
