Hi, long time lurker first time post. I have just completed my 39 with Roland after doing my 31 with him too and felt it necessary to say a big thank you. First to the Coppelridge, the rooms are big, clean and modern, the food is top notch and all the staff friendly and helpful. Next Martin who trained us, he is very laid back and puts you at your ease straight away but is an brilliant teacher who gets the message across and is more than happy to take extra time when its required. Terry our assessor is from the same mould, puts you at your ease and gets the best out of you. The venue is amazing with masses of quality trees of varied varieties to learn on. I was also lucky both times with top boys on the courses with me. I choose Roland first time round mainly due to his very competitive prices I won't go anywhere else now no matter what as he delivers on all counts. cheers all

Hi all, just a quick note to advise anyone looking to do their tree climbing and aerial rescue training that I couldn't recommend Roland Heming any higher. I undertook my Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue last week, throughout the week everything was clearly explained by Mart the instructor, between them they answered every possible question, and gave appropriate demonstrations. As well as safely and professionally building my confidence, and educating me in each area of the course. This lead to me passing my Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue course, which has meant my career can progress. Thanks guys, stoked!!!

Hi, Just passed my aerial rescue and basic climbing with Roland Hemming training. If you need training head down to North Dorset and get yourself ticketed up. If the prices do not persuade you then the experience these guys have to pass on is priceless. The accommodation is sweet too, if you have to stop down there like I did the coppleridge inn is excellent - cooked breakfast everyday! Cheers martin for the fantastic week, even though we got soaked a few days! Check them out - rolandheming.co.uk Andy

Hi All, I am a big believer in doing/getting things from recommendations; whether it is a bit of kit or a training course. So I am keen to pass on my experiences for others. I am new to the industry and I have just completed my CS30 & CS31 with Roland Heming training. It was a fantastic course, with a fantastic instructor (Martin). It made a real difference being trained by someone who still does the job and was able to pass on 'top tips' and expertise. The course was laid back and informative and at the end I felt confident enough to go and fell a whole forest! Speaking of which the course is held in a very nice woodland, with plenty to crosscut and fell! I was assessed by Roland - couldn't be a nicer guy! I felt completely at ease and able to complete the required questions and demonstration without that (eyes burning into the back of your head feeling) I have already booked to return to complete my climbing course and I am currently eyeing up my third. Also if like me, you want to make your cash go as far as possible with kit and training etc, Roland Heming offers great value for money, even if you stay in the accommodation, it can work out cheaper than others! Great course, fantastic instruction, relaxed environment, highly recommended! Hope the above helps anyone looking to get more tickets or like me start out!
