We are an Arb Approved Contracting company, established 20 years, looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced climber to lead the team on site and bring new ideas to the business. If you are looking for a permanent job and are committed to a career in Arboriculture, keep reading! Salary £22-25K depending on skills, qualifications and experience. Situated between the North Yorkshire Moors and the sea, this is an ideal opportunity to strike a work life balance where the cost of living in the area is low but the potential rewards are high, as is the quality of the work and customer care we provide to our varied domestic, commercial & public sector clients. The role requires good communication skills and on-site decision making, taking responsibility for the site team when the business owner is not available. The post holder will also be required to carry out equipment & vehicle checks in accordance with LOLER & PUWER legislation. The applicant must have experience of advanced technical dismantling methods and will have worked on large trees, and will preferably hold CS41 or be working towards this. A high standard of aerial pruning techniques is also required(CS40 desirable). A clean UK driving licence is essential (trailer licence desirable). This is a pensionable post. Applicants will need to be physically fit for the post. References will be required. UK driving licence required CS 30, 31, 32/33, 37, 38, 39 required CS 40, 41 desirable Trailer licence desirable Full PPE & logo'd workwear provided. 28 days paid holiday. Sick pay.
