  1. So, I've been pretty tired all the time for the past few years. All my life really... I just put it down to being fed up... By pure chance, a few days ago, a couple of wee sachets of Magnesium Aspartate supplement came my way - a freebie in an order of other stuff. I mixed with water and drank it, just because. Later the same day or maybe the next day, I was full of energy. Didn't associate it with the magnesium. A few days later, I saw the second packet lying around and consumed it. A few hours later, energy started coming back. Mood greatly improved... So I kind of made the causal connection, and googled "magnesium for energy" and yes indeed, that what it was all about, I had a magnesium deficiency. Bought a box of the stuff at the pharmacy and have been on a daily dose for a few days, it works. Energy levels "normal" which to me feels like being on speed or something. The boost lasts all day, maybe a couple of days, not like a caffeine kick though, which is more of a mental stimulant, this is really a physical cellular type deal. Just thought I'd mention it, as there might be some folks on here who could benefit from trying it. Apparently a lot of people are Mag deficient and it's a malabsorption problem, not a dietary one.
