Hi, I'm looking for freshly felled or fallen trees that I can process into firewood. The logs need to be capable of being lifted by an able bodied man. I am interested in tree species that make good firewood. No treated or painted or moldy wood. Loads from 1 to 10 cubic metres are fine and I'm happy to pay more for larger loads. Please email or call to discuss.

Happy to accept logs for seasoning if cut into sections that can be lifted or dragged round the back. You should tip the logs in front of the garage if the car is not there or alternatively in the front grassy area by the street.
Please phone/text or email prior to coming to discuss - I normally answer/reply quickly.

Ash Farmhouse Cart Shed
By Ash Farm
Convenient location with access direct from A49. You can pull all the way off the road with a trailer.
Tip timber into barn with door facing the road. Will need anything with diameter greater than about 0.5m already cut to shorter sections that wouldn’t demand lifting gear to move.
Chippings into rear yard through gates. Prefer no leaf matter.
Cash or bank transfer as preferred.

Looking for hardwood chips for chicken flooring please. Preferably not much green/bark etc.
Can accommodate 5-6m^2 load on driveway, but would prefer less if possible (3m^2).
Will pay in eggs, but depends when you come/notice given as to how many eggs there are.
Please contact by phone or email (email more reliable) to discuss.

Farnham Community Farm
We require a fairly constant supply of clean, weed-free woodchips. We are a small, non-profit community farm, growing sustainable, pesticide/chemical-free vegetables to organic principles just outside Farnham. We can pay, but please be aware this would have to be quite a small amount.
