Hello! We are in desperate need of a LOT of woodchips to cover the ground in some of our more well used play spaces such as our Forest School areas and outdoor classrooms.
We'd also be very happy to receive logs and stumps for creating additional seating around the school site.
Loads can be dumped with prior agreement in our school carpark (we have 5 carpark spaces currently cordoned off due to a fallen tree so easily accessible and won't cause an obstruction!)

Fulwell allotments

At the top of viewforth terrace is fulwell allotments. If you drive to the top of the allotments there is a wood chip tip site that has been used before.

Hill Rise Allotments
This is a gated locked allotment. Woodchip can be off loaded in the car park. you will need to ring me before dumping as I need to unlock the gate.

Garston Manor Allotments
This is an allotment site that is only open Saturday and Sunday 10am-12pm. The Christmas break is between 19/12/2021 and 15/01/2022. The site will not be open during this break.

This is a meadow with the entrance directly off the A415, visibility for a lone driver on departure is not good, but I can assist by arrangement if necessary.
Not prone to flooding.
Woodchip of most kinds are acceptable, my only preference is that they are believed to be pesticide-free.
Loads can be placed just inside the gate but I would also appreciate some loads dotted around the meadow for ease of later use.

I am primarily after wood-chips which can be used for garden. If you could call on your way, please I can make sure the gates are open. Just past the driveway there is a open area where the woodchips can be unloaded (Please see attached photo).
