We can take any size of log as long as it can be lifted by a person. We have the facility to chopsaw logs into splittable lengths, or use a chainsaw.

We have easy access to tip piles for both logs and chippings.

Are happy to give you a small contribution towards fuel for logs tipped; and a cup of tea is always available if we are in!

Please phone us beforehand for directions to the property and where to tip. If you have tipped with us before, then you will know where to go so we would not need prior notification.

    Hiya!
I’m a happy gardener in need of loads of clean wood chips for my garden - I get through bags and bags of the things so if I can save you the trouble of having to pay to get rid of perfectly good wood chippings (and also avoid the packaging and long delivery drives) that seems perfect to me!

Please contact me for exact address info

Happy to take logs off your hands too! Interesting tree wood would be cool as I like to turn wood as a hobby, but any wood that can, once I’ve chopped it up and dried it out, be all good for burning in a log burner is fine by me
I can promise cups of tea and cake too given enough warning!

Please note that you’ll ideally be able to reverse your truck into my drive way so you can offload the chippings onto my front garden (other wise I won’t be able to get my car out lol!) There is a decent amount of space for a normal size transit truck - I’ve had a skip truck deliver before no problem - but please confirm your vehicle with me if it’s wider than a normal transit van/pick up truck etc so I can double check for you.

    Thank you!!!

  4. Graig Farm

Graig Farm is accessed along a farm lane. We are the first property (approx 0.2m) along the lane, sign posted 'Spring Cottage'. There is a recessed space outside gates and we'd like woodchips/logs tipped there if possible. Please don't block gates as access required.

Hi, our chip drop site is situated by the Penndra Campsite, via same entrance as campsite- over the conkrete bridge with wooden railings -on the road bend, then campsite is on left but you turn right around the pond towards the old barn. The point of drop is by the right side, back corner of the barn at the end of gravel road between storage containers, end of road is visible in the photo. ( not behind the barn) will mark it clearly for you. We will appreciate wood chip of any kind, providing it does not contain or comes from close proximity of any invasive plants such as knotweed etc. Or comes from site with Ash die-back present. We might b able to accept the occasional hedge clippings -after communication.
