We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our professional & friendly team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for arboriculture, relish working outdoors, be able to safely climb and maintain trees and take pride in their work. This role is essential for ensuring the health and aesthetics of our landscapes, requiring both physical stamina and technical expertise.
Applicants must have a strong background working previously in the industry. Have a good knowledge of common native trees and shrubs also understand and be able to carry out different tree surgery techniques and services including domestic hedge cutting.
It is essential that applicants hold a minimum of NPTC CS30/31 NPTC CS38 or 39 (308) and have 2-3 years experience within the field.
All candidates must have plenty of experience using chainsaws and chippers and good understanding of rigging operations at ground level. An appreciation for mechanical maintenance to assist in basic repairs and up keep of equipment is also useful.
It is vital that you are professional, have excellent time keeping, exceptional communication and can work collaboratively as part of a team. A tidy appearance is essential and full branded uniform will be provided.
Applicants must be willing to work in all weather conditions, be physically fit, friendly, flexible, have a strong work ethic and take pride in your work.
All required PPE will be provided, and 28 days paid holiday (including Bank Holidays).
Working hours are 07:30 to 16:30 Monday – Friday.
Overtime and weekend work always available.
All applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport, as Dowdeswell is not served by any public transport.
£25,000 - £30,000 per year
Competitive pay dependent on experience.
