I ran my own tree care business for 7 years & and have worked for 5yrs for an Arborist company running a crew so I have lots of practical experience but from what I've read the ISA isn't as highly recognized as it's more theory based. I'll definitely check out the link!
  2. Hi there, I'm an Arborist originially from the UK, who has been living in Canada for the past 12 years. I'm looking for some help in working out what my qualifications would be equivalent to in the UK. I have the ISA Certified Arborist & ISA Traq qualifications and before I moved to Canada, I was a Landscaper in the UK from leaving school and have NVQ Level 1& 2 in Horticulture & Royal Horticulture Society Level 2 certificate in Horticulture. I'm planning on moving back to the UK in the next 6-12 months and I'm looking at jobs but I'm unsure what I'd be qualified for. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks!
