  1. Her family lives around St Clears, west of Carmarthen. So anywhere around there would be great as this will be were we would stay when we arrive.
  2. She won't be working as we have 2 young kids. We might be able to find a way to show the amount of money in her bank account that is needed as a proof that she can support me. That would be our second option to finding a company that hires me with a contract to.proof that I earn enough so I can get my work permit.
  3. My wife can be in the UK, no problem as she holds her British Citizenship, I have German Citizenship and soon potentially Canadian. Where do you get the info from that from a Commonwealth Country it's easier
  4. Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, currently living in BC, Canada. Recently we (my wife and I) talk a lot about relocating to Wales, to be closer to her aging parents and have our kids growing up with their grand parents. I am well aware that financially it would make more sense to stay here in BC and work as an Arborist, but there are decisions in life that don't just focus on money and that would be one for us. Long story short, I am looking to find a potential employer that would go through the process of sponsoring me through the skilled worker visa program. Is anyone in this group a business owner in the Carmarthenshire area and surroundings or do you know anyone who is? Trying to figure out my best ways to immigrate and that would be one of them. A bit of info about me: 42 years old, working in tree business for 5 years, climbing for 3 years(srs and mrs), small and big removals, rigging, chipper, saws, run my own small company here, have some experience in rope access work (not tree related) from Germany, where I am from originally. Looking forward to all pointers into the right direction. Thanks a lot
