the ability to be punctual, reliable, polite, and on a lot of jobs just purely get stuck in. Agreed...the getting stuck in is absolutely what I love

Loyalty.. reliability hard work high standards and good team ethos...not worried about the climbing so much , although hate not being involved...but hope I can be contributing and not be staring as t a screen.. What you say is totally fair though

Hi Stephen I'm not a gym bunny but I wasn't in a hat line regiment. Difference is I can just keep going... despite knees and back...but what you say is totally fair. I know how how helping mates takes its toll but I'm not sure as big company will fit me either..good advice and food for thought thanks for taking the time to give your thoughts

Hiya folks....I am 56 and would like to swap careers again. I have cross cut and small tree felling and experience working on small trees and doing hedges. Used a cherry picker with a more experienced mate a few times. I have some work experience lined up for Mondays with company that did some work on three trees in my garden which was beyond me. Am I being naive that I can start in this line of work at my age...I am ex military left 13 years ago and am pretty fit and like hard physical work...
