  1. Hello, We have a wood burning/coal (but never got on with coal) stove which has been installed over 6 years ago. It is pumped as I could not get a descent sustained gravity feed. The pipe work from the back of the stove is 32mm and goes straight up. It does have 2 safety pressure relief valves and can be run in conjunction with a gas boiler feeding the same radiators. I also have the system split so it can heat either up or downstairs as required. The pump kicks in when the temperature of the water reaches 55C at the back of the stove but the pump speed is governed by the temperature of the water from the back of the stove and will reach full pump speed around 75C. Added to this if it does got any hotter than 80C will feed all the radiators to cool it down. Seems to work okay for us.
