  1. Hopefully the right place to ask. looking for the rules and regs on flue location and direction for a wood burning stove I have just ordered. I’ve read the rules on distance from the roof peak but the issue is I have dormers too, which isn’t covered in any examples. On the picture, the yellow dot is where the flue will come out. ideally I would like the direction marked in green where it follows the roofline at a 45degree angle and then up in line with the dormers. Or would it have to go straight up as the blue line shows? The height isn’t really an issue but would it have to go higher than the dormer roof line.?
