My friend gave me a Hexa chains for my Husqvarna 61 oh wow I’m newish and very impressed with the hexa chain, I normally use Stihl chains Picco, can definitely tell the difference in cutting and ringing. Who here prefers hexa chains and what chainsaw do you use with it on ?
  3. England here. i have a Husqvarna 40 and I have managed to get the parts, I Need advice on when I apply the chain break it cuts out, is there a reason for this to happen ? I put a new sprocket, I took clutch off to swap sprocket and clutch seemed ok, It won’t let me upload photos grrrr
  4. Hello I own a 021 Stihl and it’s never let me down, I use Stihl forestry chain bar oil for it and it’s good well I think so. i have 2 Husqvarna one is 61 and other is 40 both old chainsaws. My question is would it be ok to use the Stihl forestry bar oil in them or not ? I’ve just had the 61 a complete rebuild and modified with a bigger cylinder and a few other upgrades, I will be running the fuel at 32-1 as been advised by the person who fixed it for me. The 40 I bought from robnissan aka Stride Baad, I need a few things for it petrol and oil cap as they are broken and a on off switch, I was told the new ones doesn’t really work on older machines. any advice and help is very appreciated. Regards Stan.

  9. Hello all, I have been using a chainsaw for about 14 years now and respect them fully. I would like some advice I’ve got a 021 Sthil great little saw, it’s got a 14” bar on it and I’ve cut some biggish logs up today. There is a few big logs about 40” diameter I’m looking at getting a other chainsaw but unsure which one to get so any advice will be very appreciated, or does anyone know who rents them out in West Yorkshire area ? Thanks for reading. Stan.
  10. We have a multi fuel log burner and always on look out for hard wood, I was lucky enough to get a load of ash, the tree was blown down in the winds right next to a railway line luckily in landed in farmers land not so lucky for his fence, which I had to cut myself which was enjoyable yes I have the correct equipment to wear. If there is any hard wood in my area that has blown down I’m more that willing to come and assist. I live in Leeds West Yorkshire. I’m sure there is plenty of other people in line before me. Thanks for reading. Regards Stan.
