I own an arb business that currently undertakes only highways work.
The yard is based in central Norfolk but the work is anywhere in area 6 and 8 (East Anglia + a bit).
I'm looking for one or two operatives to work for me on a self employed basis.
Main highways work includes land clearance, dangerous tree removals, grass cutting and tree planting.
Mix of days and nights. Preference will be given to operatives that aren't fussy about whichever are available.
£220/shift on nights
£190/shift on days
Invoiced and paid every Friday with 7 day payment terms.
MUST be 18+
Free of drugs/alcohol (regular testing)
Able to pass an SEQOHS medical
Polite
Hardworking
Punctual
Can operate a saw/strimmer/chipper to a high standard
Can back up big talk with hard work.
You'll need a minimum of CS30, 31, chipper, brushcutter and CSCS card.
Ideally you'll have 1st Aid, MEWP, SSSTS but not a dealbreaker.
I have good kit and a few good people subbing to me now but I'm looking to expand the team sizes.
Position would suit someone out of college looking to get their foot in the door.
