  1. Morning Iv just joined, time served builder and hetas engineer I’m now looking to get into firewood. Iv come across a decent supply of free trees and have plenty of room in my builders hard for seasoning. I’m totally new to it but obviously used hand and power tools all my life, look forward to getting stuck in. sugar
  2. You can use 45 bends no problem, all that’s happened here is they’ve not made the top of the knock through high enough, it’s a difficult job to get perfect and you end up having the pipe in and out over and over to get it right without taking too much out. The only fix is to disconnect and knock the top of the hole out, which would mean re plastering etc not a huge job but it depends if it bothers you, as for the adapter there’s always lots of play so they don’t always naturally sit plumb.
  3. Hi there, new member just registered I’m hetas, and yes you can fit a liner upto the top of the stack, then twin wall through the roof. Iv done two installs like this before, you need an anchor plate which clamps onto your flexi liner, then screws down onto the top of the stack, and has a twin wall coupling on top. you then need 600 above the ridge if you land within 600 of the ridge, you could always use a couple of 45 bends to kick it to one side. hope that helps!
