  1. Make sure you open a window a least a little bit. When you consider 100m3 typically pass through a wood stove per hour, if the place is too airtight, it can hurt the draft, I guess.
  2. Here are some pictures. I guess it can leak a little bit if the flames are too tall and/or there is smoke. I can't smell anything if I keep the flames below the pipe and if I avoid smoke. The pipe itself has just been cleaned and it's a 200mm diameter about 13m tall, so there should be widely enough draft.
  3. I'm using the Sndway SW-825, which is very reliable for example when I cook something or just to compare with official PM2.5 concentrations I find online. I'm thinking of getting a detector that includes more stuff like TVOC and HCHO, but I have no idea if that would be relevant.
  4. I read more and more articles about indoor pollution from wood burning stoves. I have an open fireplace and when I put too much wood in it and build tall flames, I can clearly smell something and have to open the windows. Surprisingly enough, my, otherwise very reactive, PM2.5 detector doesn't detect anything. Am I looking for the wrong particulates? If that's the case, which ones should I look for? Thanks
