Our business Recreational Services, operates in the recreational space and amenity maintenance sector throughout New Zealand including some of the countries best regional locations.
Our specialist Arboriculture teams provide services to our clients with ongoing maintenance work and special projects.
We employ over 600 people, and have a positive team culture through our commitment to a culture of health and safety, excellence, and continuous improvement, whilst caring for our people, clients, and communities.
Our Arboriculture teams work independently providing their specialist services to our clients undertaking on going maintennance work as well as bespokje projects and emergency jobs when call on. i.e. lots of variety
We are actively recruiting for experienced arborists for positions in some of our top regions including:
Queenstown - South Island. - One of NZ's favourite outdoor playgrounds, with great mountains and lakes
Hawkes Bay - North Island - Warm climate, surf beaches. Producers of some of our best wine, fruit and other natural foods
Coromandel - North Island - Sunshine, beaches and not too far from the city
Here's what we are ideally looking for :
Preferred Skills
Diploma or tertiary qualification in Arboriculture
and/OR
A minimum of 3+ years of proven practical industry experience
A clean and current driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
A positive attitude towards working safely
For our Senior Arborist roles , you'll also need to have
Sound leadership skills and experience along with enthusiasm to motivate your team
Organisational and Planning skills to coordinate and manage projects and jobs for your Arborist team
We have a several Arborists who have arrived from the UK and are now working with our company. Our business is large enough to offer opportunities in a number of locations (including Australia), though also a size that means you can add to your career experience working as part of one of our skilled and well resourced local Arboriculture teams.

If you are not a New Zealand resident you will need a work visa to work in New Zealand.
A British Working holiday visa will allow you to work for up to two years and are available now
A working visa requires more processing, though once issued will provide for 3 years work eligibility, and long term residency options
