For my friction on my lanyard I currently use a Vt on a pinto pulley. I’ve found that actually the pinto is probably my most useful piece of kit because I’m always using my lanyard on my main bridge as a second main line (5m rope). I really like how neat the whole system is. I’ve just starting looking for a mechanical friction device for my lanyard. The 2 main ones I’ve been looking at is the art positioner and the petzl zillion. I guess my questions are: 1. Are Both these devices are rated to work on a rope using it like a main line as opposed to like a lanyard just on my Ds? and 2. Is there a way to have these devices, or an attachment where I can clip the carabiner back into the same system to make it neat and tidy like the pinto? cheers
