That sounds too thick and nobody's buying it. I'd steer clear myself, you need the oil to go in the pivots of the chain too.

I haven't seen oil that thick for sale before so I thought I would ask, The Oregon oil I'm using now is about a 100 I think

  2. What do people charge for slatted fences per metre I've been doing £90 for a 6ft and £60 for a 4ft that includes material, labour, fuel and disposing of waste. I'm in north Scotland

    That would be my thinking.

Id say the etseais is probably good as its narrow 46cm deck

If it was 53cm like the orec with same -ish engine blade is cutting  about 30% more area  of circle

They seem often just to go wider decks but not any bigger engines why not more GCV200 ones etc...

My etesia has the kawasaki fj180v it's 4.5hp and has plenty of power never struggles, the orec is only 3.2hp I would rather have a bit more power instead of cut width like mentioned above the honda hrx536 is 4.5hp with a 21 inch cut but can't find out how good they are in the wet

Id take any such claims with a pinch of salt!  How wet, how long is the grass?

Surely the ability to pick up weight should be physics, so look for a big engine relative to the width of the deck, high lift blades and a very open 'throat' between the mower and the bag.

The lawnflite fits most of those 19 inch cut and a 5hp subaru engine very similar to the etesia it's also has fan assisted collection which apparently is what makes it so good, but the reviews on the gear box are very bad most only lasting a year and costing £300 to replace but I'm not sure is that just on the roller models

  5. I want to replace my etesia pro46 but trying to find one that cuts and picks up as good as the etesia in the wet, orec and lawnflite both claim to pick up in the wet and both are available in local dealers but can't find much reviews on them. Are etesia the best at this or is there other makes just as good

  6. I've applied for a grant so it will cover the cost of this if it gets awarded  I've been  getting asked by alot of customers recently if I do weed spraying but I've being saying no, most people I speak to say not to bother with tickets and just spray without them

Does that include food and accommodation? The going rate for both seems to be about £500. As others have said try further south Edinburgh/ Glasgow?

That's just for the 2 course I was looking at the sruc elmwood campus in Cupar its about £460

  8. It's a mk1 I have  it just gets in the way and makes refuelling awkward, I had been wanting one for a while then bought it at Christmas I think it was only on the saw 2 days before I swapped it back

I will have a look and let you know but I'm guessing a few of those parts aren't available anymore.

268, chain brake as in the handle or the brake band?

The handle and the brake band  like the full assembly, I think that's the problem I'm having is that the parts are just not made anymore most places I look seem to have the same parts in stock and the same discontinued

Which parts are you looking for? I can find out if they are still available from Husqvarna.

For the 42 I need the top handle, clutch, sprocket, choke know and the oil and petrol cap the 268 just needs the clutch cover and chain brake
