Update I have ordered the MS 231.

I have decided to buy either a Stihl MS211 or 181 to replace my knackered Husky 236 which saw 12 years of mostly good service. I use it for sawing a 25 ton load of trailered logs along with 3 others. Diameters range from mostly 1 foot to 18 inches. I'd be very grateful for any advice on which model may be best but also if the C-BE versions are worth the extra money and whether or not they cause extra problems. I'm a quite fit 68 year old so I don't think the weight difference would be too much of a problem. Thanks in advance!

To be honest, I just wiped it with a rag and didn't look at what was on it! All I remember is that it wasn't too caked.

I have a quarter share in a Thor Alpino logsplitter which has been brilliant fro processing firewood for several years. Recently, it has been losing power and struggles to split an y knotty wood. I have topped up the hydraulic oil, cleaned the magnetic filter and we always make sure the splitter is used on the level. Can anyone please suggest what the fault may be?
