  3. Hi folks - I am new to a lot of this and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a friends very old 076AV Stihl saw with what i believe to be a 36" bar and rip chain. The problem is that my friend had the lack of wisdom to lend me an electric chain sharpener with which i have managed to butcher the chain by carefully setting it to the wrong angle. Going forwards I will stick to manual methods. My question is this - is it possible to get a new chain for this and if so what chain does it require and how could I work this out. The information I have on the side of the bar is as follows: Stihl 1.6 12.87 3002 001 8052 One of the chains i have for the machine has 27 written on the teeth though I am unsure what it refers to as there are many more links than that. Any help with finding details of the chain i am using (what the correct angle is ) and where i can buy a new one would be great! All the best, Stu IMG_6838.HEIC IMG_6836.HEIC IMG_6837.HEIC
