Tree Surgeon - Groundsman HRJ Tree Services are recruiting for a Groundsman / Arborist to work with us on a permanent basis. Candidates must have a Full UK Drivers License to be considered for the role. Responsibilities: • Accompany skilled arborists performing tree maintenance • Clear branches and brush quickly and safely. • Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in tree care, such as chainsaws and wood chippers. • Ability to use your own initiative to work quickly and effectively and help the wider team. •Positive attitude and willing to work hard essential. Qualifications: • Previous experience working as a groundsman or tree surgeon. •Relevant NPTC qualifications • Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively. •Full driving licence, experience driving trucks and trailers desirable. • Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. HRJ are now looking to recruit an experienced arborist. You will need to be competent in the field and experienced in all aspects of tree surgery. We are looking for someone who is able to confidently complete jobs in a safe and professional manor, willing to work hard to a high standard and is knowledgeable about the role and industry. Roles and Responsibilities: · Tree Felling · Canopy Reduction/Pollarding · Stump Grinding · Tree Planting · Tree Site clearance and De-vegetation · Ensuring all health and safety criteria is always followed · Provide great customer service and deal with requests from customers in a professional manner · Willingness to work overtime and weekend work Qualifications: · Full UK driver’s licence · Maintenance & Cross Cutting · Felling up to 380mm · Tree climbing & rescue · Chainsaw from a rope and harness . Manually fed wood-chipper . Looking for someone to come on board on a par time basis, as work picks up there will be more days needed. But currently need a worker for Thursdays and Fridays.
