  1. two years ago several Japanese Maple trees were planted in my yard. They were about 5-6'. Now they are now apparently healthy and about 8-9'. However during the past couple weeks, I've noticed that three otherwise healthy appearing trees look like they've had a branch or two snapped partially (branch is still somewhat connected to tree by a peel of bark by otherwise off). I no longer have children playing in the yard and cannot explain the damage. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a remedy? Thanks, Sam
