    Spot on! When working as a joiner we would cut sawn timber to about 1/8"-1/4" oversize, this would allow us to straighten it when planing maybe a bit more if it was a really nasty grain.

    Maybe the answer to this Andy is because Norwegians are probably a better quality of people compared to the absolute f#@kers who occupy these shores.
