  1. Hey, I'm a beginner to this, I've started working for a tree company and I just want to learn more about trees. I've already read the tree climbers companion, but I'd like a book or two on pruning/ arboriculture. I've already bought the Collins British tree guide for identifying trees. The Modern Arboriculture by Alex Shigo was recommended a lot, along with Trees by Bob Watson. Would these be a good buy? Sorry I know this gets asked quite a lot but these books are pretty damn expensive, so I want to know they are the best buy for a beginner. Thanks!
