Truck and chipper needed Saturday 20th November for a couple hours chipping that's all cash paid in hand once the job is complete.

Hi all,
Is there anyone in the banbury area that is able to help me out Saturday 13th November with a truck that can move brash from the jobsite to round the corner quite littlerally 5 minutes away. You won't need to drag brash just drive the truck. I'm pretty desperate and the guy that was going to help has bailed.
Thanks adam

You will require Public Liability Insurance ( I would recommend min. £5 million) and if you are employing somebody, Employers Indemnity Insurance, which I believe is normally offered starting at £10 million. If you are doing surveys/reports etc, you would be wise to get Professional Indemnity Insurance. Some insurers will cover verbal free advice under PLI.
Note that an 'employee' is anybody who you direct or pay so would include sub-contractors, volunteers etc.
There are specialist firms like Trust who do tree surgery insurance.
Thanks chap, I want to make sure everything is safe and legal hence asking the question

Do you know anything about tree surgery? It's not rocket science, but not a business I would go into without at least a bit of experience.
Yeah iv been doing it 2 years climbing over a year. Not looking to start big just something to earn the money for the family and leave something to the kids

Get cs30,31,38,39 , buy PPE, ladders, climbing saw, ground saw, hedge cutters, rake and a pickup. Get public liability, advertise flyers or website, quote , go and do the job, get paid, reflect, have a pasty and a pint repeat.
Have that bar the ladders and hedge cutter at the moment

iv not long moved over to arboriculture from farm work. I have worked on farms since leaving agricultural college in 2014 previous to that i studied mechanics after leaving school. in june 2020 i decided to make a change of career and move to arboriculture. after speaking to a local company i decided to make the leap and get the tickets i need to start work. I currently have my CS30, CS31, CS38, CHIPPER, ROLO (need to redo my cscs test as i didnt get my card in time) AND FIRST AID + F. looking into the near future getting the CS39 but would like to get some practice climbing first before i do the CS39. To become a climber is my ultimate goal but understand it takes time to master this skill. With my farming background im able and competent to operate heavy machines such as tractors and loaders (although not ticketed for a loader but that can be sorted). Will work in all weathers and all times of the day to get the work done. Keen to learn and progress in the arboriculture sector.
Progression route.
As said previous my ultimate goal is to become a climber (CS39) but moving forward from that would like to earn the additional tickets in the sector for example, large fell, rigging, storm blown trees. Then progressing to a lead role. i have every interest to stay at a single company long term to excel at this progression.
Heres a few extra bullet points.

Mornign all, hopefully im in the right section regard askign this important question. im new to climbing and the comany i work for have suplied me a climbing kit but with a massive duffel bag. it has far to much excess space in so was looking for a more dedicated arborist kit bag. iv been looking at the courant cross pro XL (54L) , the courant cross rescue bag (75L) and the notch pro access kit bag (60L). obviously they are very different priced bags. i like the fact they open up and everything is easily accesible. what are everyones opinions on these bags and is there anything else you could reccomend.
The kit iv got it needs to hold,
2 ropes
harness
spikes
tool strop
karabiners
lanyard
prussiks
cambium saver
helmet preferably
and i think thats it!
Thanks for your help,
Adam
