Bits do fall of it occasionally but easy fixed. Had to replace a clutch and bearings totalling £150 in a year of hard graft.
Briggs engine should last id have thought.

£2k is about the secondhand rate for machines like Predator 360, Carlton Rayco etc. I would say they are all ok on smaller stumps, I like the turntable on the predator as it's easier to swing than moving wheel through the chip. These machines are £4k ish new.
The £1k new Chinese machines do apparently work, just going to need more fixing and maybe not last as long.There’s a rayco rg13 for sale for £2600 near me but I can’t stretch that much at the mo as the misses will string me up lol

Hi just looking for a cheap stump grinder about £2k any suggestions, I only need a smaller 13hp ish as I’ll only be doing small stumps. Many thanks in advance ?

It’s that price range where I can end up with a pile of tosh that’s why I know I need to be careful with what I buy ?
