  1. Thanks, I’ll check both (and the fuel line as suggested above)
  2. Exactly why I drained it and replaced with fresh in case it was old fuel causing the issue... Thanks though stubby.
  3. Hi Khriss, I don’t think so - this came in midway through ringing some firewood. Have drained and re-filled the tank with new (decent) fuel and the problem persists. The fuel I was using was from a can that I’d used for months with no problems.
  4. Saw is driving me mad! Fuel, air and spark right? Suddenly it starts to bog down badly as soon as the blade meets wood. Starts and runs fine. Fuel-new Air filter - clean Spark plug - clean and gap correct Fuel filter - clean Chain - freshly sharpened and running freely Spark arrestor - doesn’t have one Fuel tank breather - clean and free (also tried it with the breather disconnected to double check) I am at my wits end! Have run a tank with Redex in it to ensure clean fuel system as well. Chainsaw is relatively young and has only had hobby hours, was running perfectly up to last week. Anyone have any ideas what may have happened? This came on suddenly whilst processing some firewood. Really appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks Raggie
