  1. Thanks to those who have continued to reply. An update, the 2 arm oregon mulching blade works fine, in fact works very well!
  2. Thanks Will, I appreciate your help. I saw the various types of Oregon blades so will give it a try.
  3. Thanks for the replies. Nothing in the manual other than how to fit the blade on and using the correct size. Makita have a tri blade which I will try, I think I may be being a bit optimistic with hoping a mulching blade may be possible. The brushcutter itself is quite powerful and is just as good as a smaller petrol model just much lighter weighted.
  4. Been searching through posts and there is a lot of info as to brushcutter blades, but I still need some advice please. I have a Makita DUX60 cordless multi tool (I am petite and struggle with petrol equipment weight), mainly using the pole saw and brushcutter (with line). It suffices for maintaining a small amount of land and woodland. I do however need to clear a small overgrown area. A mulching blade would be perfect but the info on here suggests the blades available would be too heavy and the DUX60 may be underpowered to use one. If this is true, can anyone advise which blade to use? The area is a mix of brambles, tall grass and other woody weeds. Many thanks.
